Everything you need to know

Choosing someone to care for your much-loved pets is an important decision. Below are answers to some of the questions I’m most often asked. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—I’ll be happy to help.

🐶 Dog Boarding

Do you offer a meet and greet?

Yes. Before your dog’s first stay, I’ll arrange a complimentary meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your dog’s routine and answer any questions before the booking begins.

What should I bring for my dog’s stay?

Please bring your dog’s food for the duration of their stay, along with their lead, harness or collar, bed or blanket (if preferred), favourite toy, any medication and emergency contact details.

Will my dog be walked every day?

Yes. Dogs staying with me receive daily walks, together with plenty of playtime, companionship and opportunities to relax.

Can you administer medication?

Yes. As long as full instructions are provided before your booking, I’m happy to administer most routine medications.

Will my dog stay with other dogs?

Each booking is considered individually to ensure a safe and happy environment for every dog. I’ll discuss this with you during your meet and greet.

🐱 Cat Sitting

How many visits can you make each day?

One or more visits can be arranged, depending on your cat’s needs and my availability.

Can you care for more than one cat?

Absolutely. Visits for two or more cats living at the same address are just £8 per visit.

Will my cat be happier at home?

Most cats are much more relaxed remaining in their own familiar surroundings, where their normal routine can continue with as little disruption as possible.

Do you send updates while I’m away?

Yes. I’ll happily send regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.

🏡 Home & Booking

Are you DBS checked?

Yes. I hold a current DBS check for your peace of mind.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have specialist pet sitting and home boarding insurance.

Do you look after my home as well?

Yes. During cat sitting visits, I’m happy to bring in post and parcels, water plants, adjust curtains or lights if requested, and carry out a simple home security check—all at no additional charge.

Which areas do you cover?

I’m based in Malmesbury and provide pet care throughout the town and many surrounding villages. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area, please get in touch.

How do I book?

Simply complete the contact form, send me an email or give me a call. I’ll be happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange your complimentary introductory visit where appropriate.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, particularly for school holidays, bank holidays and peak summer periods, as availability can become limited.  Please note I am full for the month of August 2026, also February half term 2027 is currently fully booked.

My pet is elderly, nervous or has additional needs. Can you help?

In many cases, yes. Every pet is an individual, and I’m happy to discuss their needs before booking. Whenever possible, I’ll tailor my care to help them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.  If after meeting I feel that their needs may be better met elsewhere, we will explore this appropriately.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment details will be provided when your booking is confirmed.
